Weekenders Getaway: A love story

Hey Weekenders,

This blog is dedicated to my working warriors out there pulling the typical 9-5 Monday through Friday. Let me tell you what we LOVE our weekends!! And let’s face it we all start dreaming of the weekend Monday morning at approximately 9:01 a.m. and when it does come around we never seem to have enough time to do anything worthy of a cool instagram post. Then to make matters worse there is always “that” colleague that has the amazing weekend story, and we sit in quiet jealousy as we try and act like we generally care they just went Hiking in Nashville for the weekend. Like seriously! Hiking?!  I can barely get my laundry and grocery shopping done in a weekend!

Well guess what. Times are changing and we are exploring the new definition of weekend getaway. It’s about time we all start enjoying our weekends again, and making the impossible possible. That is what this blog is all about, making a memorable trip in 36 hours or less.

A little about myself, I am a Michigander born and raised. I love my mitten state, and when you visit you will too. I graduated college with a degree in Marketing, and travel for fun in my spare time. Whether its  a drive up to Northern Michigan or I am packing a carry-on for a quick trip to Cali I am always going somewhere! Life is too short to stay in one place for too long, so I have devoted all of my spare time and funds to the one thing that always makes you richer- Travel.

Stay tuned for posts on trips I’ve taken in the past and brand new plans being booked right now to NOLA, San Jose and Orlando.

Thanks for reading. Please share with me your feedback and let me know which places you would like to explore in 36 hours or less!
